A Journey Beyond Mountains and Seas: "2025 European and American Students China Tour" Concludes Successfully in December
American teachers and students were invited to Jiangxi Industrial Trade Vocational and Technical College for a fun and rewarding skills experience. They participated in a series of unique courses such as baking, tea art, and grain painting. They also visited artificial intelligence and mechanization laboratories, observing cutting-edge technological applications up close. Through the interplay of traditional crafts and modern technology, they experienced the diverse charm of Jiangxi's industrial development. The warm reception and detailed explanations from the faculty and students made each experience truly memorable.
The American delegation visited the Binjiang Campus of Jiangxi Normal University High School to participate in the "Inheriting Jiangxi's Charm, Upholding World's Harmony" Jiangxi "Tengwang Pavilion Cup" 2025 International Model United Nations Conference. They engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with outstanding Chinese youth from across the country on global issues, broadening their international perspectives and deepening their understanding of global governance and international cooperation through debate and collaboration. The conference provided an effective platform for cross-cultural exchange, breaking down language barriers, showcasing the inclusive nature of Jiangxi's culture, and strengthening the sense of social responsibility among youth from China and abroad.
During the cultural exploration segment, the American teachers and students visited famous sites in Nanchang and Jingdezhen. At the Qiushui Square, they enjoyed the musical fountain and experienced the modern urban landscape of Nanchang. Ascending the Tengwang Pavilion, they appreciated the charm of classical Chinese architecture and poetic culture. At the Jingdezhen China Ceramics Museum, they sensed the millennia-long heritage of ceramic culture through its collection of artifacts. Through hands-on pottery making, they practiced techniques such as kneading clay and wheel throwing, gaining a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship of intangible cultural heritage.
Subsequently, the American teachers and students took a high-speed train to Shanghai, experiencing the achievements of China's modern transportation infrastructure. They visited iconic landmarks such as the Bund and Yu Garden. During the tour, they gained insights into the historical transformation and dynamic development of Shanghai as an international metropolis, experienced the elegance of Jiangnan garden culture and the inclusive coexistence of diverse urban cultures, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the unique charm of China's urban development.
