On October 15 (local time), a delegation from Fuzhou Zhiyi Hualun High School, led by Principal Lin Jiedong, successfully completed a friendly return visit to Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Pennsylvania, USA. This visit further solidified the cooperation between the two schools and marked a substantial deepening of their educational exchange and partnership.
In July 2024, Dinuo International Education Group successfully organized the 4th Canal City Model United Nations Conference in Fuzhou and facilitated a visit to Fuzhou by a delegation of American teachers and students. With strong support from the Fujian Provincial Association for International Educational Exchange, Dinuo International Education played an active role in formalizing the partnership between Fuzhou Zhiyi Hualun High School and Conwell-Egan Catholic High School, establishing a sister-school relationship and opening a new chapter in international exchange and cooperation in basic education between the two regions.
During the visit, Conwell-Egan Catholic High School Principal Josh Bower and other school leaders warmly welcomed the delegation from Hualun High School. The principals of both schools held a constructive working meeting in a friendly and pragmatic atmosphere, engaging in in-depth discussions on various topics, including curriculum collaboration, teacher-student exchanges, and cultural immersion programs, and reached preliminary agreements.
Accompanied by Principal Josh Bower, Principal Lin Jiedong and the delegation toured the campus facilities of Conwell-Egan Catholic High School. They observed the school’s unique classroom teaching methods and visited student activity areas such as the basketball courts and hands-on learning zones. The delegation was deeply impressed by the school’s diverse educational approaches and well-equipped campus.
Conwell-Egan Catholic High School (CEC), founded in 1957, boasts a history of over half a century and has long been recognized as one of the top high schools in Philadelphia. In 1966, due to the growing population in Bucks County, the school separated its boys’ and girls’ divisions. In 1993, these divisions were reunited to form the present Conwell-Egan Catholic High School, now regarded as one of the finest schools in Bucks County. The school is deeply committed to supporting the personal growth and potential of every student, emphasizing holistic education that nurtures moral, intellectual, and physical development.
